Penn Law convenes William Burke-White, leading expert on U.S. foreign policy and international law; Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, professor of Practice of Law and Human Rights; Philip Nichols, professor of Russian and European studies; and Victoria Kaplan, LLM’15 of Ukraine and associate in Dechert’s global finance group, for an expert briefing on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

We will discuss the historical events that led to today’s war, as well as its international and humanitarian implications.
